Bargains at Swansea Museum’s Local History Book Fair, Saturday, 24 October 2015





This Saturday, 24 October 2015, staff from the Royal Commission will once again be attending The Royal Institution of South Wales’s annual Local History Book Fair at Swansea Museum between 10am and 4 pm. The day will offer the opportunity to buy new local history books, second-hand and antiquarian books, historical maps and paintings, postcards and much more. Authors, publishers and bookshops, representatives of local history societies, as well as staff from the Royal Commission, will be on-hand throughout the day to answer enquiries and chat to visitors. In particular, this year we will be offering a special discount of 50% or less on many of our publications. These will include:

Cymru Hanesyddol o'r Awyr / Historic Wales From the Air,

Fields of Play: The Sporting Heritage of Wales,

The Western Brecon Beacons: The Archaeology of Mynydd Du and Fforest Fawr,

Mynydd Hiraethog: The Denbigh Moors,

Roman Frontiers in Wales and the Marches,

Aerofilms: A History of Britain From Above,
